The Week in Review

This week  in reading we read Sees Behind Trees, which is about an American Indian boy who is about to become a man.  In math we are doing topic 1. In science , you won’t believe it but we are learning about scientists! In social studies we hunted buffalo! Just kidding! We just acted it out.

Congratulations!

In spelling the winner of our cutthroat game of Sparkle is Arianna! Great job!  She was also our “Person of the Moment! She received 15 froggy tickets!

This Week in Fifth Grade Fever

This week in Fifth Grade Fever we are doing our final preparations. We are setting up the studio and assigning jobs.

Poll of the Week

This week’s class poll of the week is…….. What is your favorite color?

The votes are in orange got 1, red got 2, pink got 3, blue got 6, and green got a huge group of 11 people! In our class green is the favorite color of the class!

Next Week…

  • Mr. Hagedorn’s math students are preparing for a math test.
  • We will also continue to learn about narrative writing and Sees Behind Trees.
  • Mr. Hagedorn is excited for our to begin our Literacy Circles on Tuesday.

  • We are starting Fifth Grade Fever. Or at least I hope we are!
